An invisible 360° mount for water-sports ropes
Insta360 X5 Water Sports Rope Mount fixes the camera to a sturdy rope or line for dynamic kitesurfing and wakeboarding shots. Horizontal positioning helps prevent camera spin, while the mount stays effectively invisible in stitched 360° footage.
Why choose this product
Third-person 360° angles
The mount disappears from stitched 360° footage, creating angles that look as if the camera were floating outside the frame.
Horizontal X5 position
The camera is held horizontally to reduce uncontrolled rotation around the rope.
For 1–8mm ropes
The adjustable design is intended for a sturdy rope or line between 1 and 8mm in diameter.
Built for water sports
The angle and mounting method suit kitesurfing, wakeboarding and similar tow-rope activities.
The camera follows the rope line
With X5 mounted horizontally, both lenses capture the rider and surroundings so the preferred angle can be selected later. One recording can become several vertical or horizontal edits.
Safety starts with the rope
Use only an undamaged rope suitable for the load and inspect the mount before every session. Do not attach it to a worn, loose or incorrectly sized line.
